I have already written a very popular post on this blog with a complete list of super girly brands, sort of a directory for girly girls. But in this post I explore a selection of stand out stores that are similar to For Love and Lemons and that are like them not only in the princess-fairy style but in the unique brand identity.

As a graphic designer myself, I have studied and understand a lot about Branding. And, when it comes to a choesive and strong whimsical and feminine brand identity, For Love & Lemons is absolute perfection.

They know exactly how to position themselves, and are a perfect example that the brand’s authenticity and uniqueness and what makes it unique, is the sharp eye to the details. When a girl looks at a dress or lingerie from For love and Lemons, they simply know that it is from there, due to the perfection of the dreamy-whimsical and girly identity.

Stores like For Love and Lemons

For Love & Lemons identity aesthetic: Enchanting, ultra-feminine-and-romantic, girly, dramatic, cute and whimiscal. A Mix of Fairycore, princesscore, royalcore, coquette, cute and cottagecore aesthetics combined with high quality in the trendies way.

Flirtatious adorns like cute embroidered details, like satin ribbons, rosettes, florals and little hearts, and delicate corsets, and lace trim. Some flowy pieces also evoke a slightly bohemian vibe to all the royal ultra femininity, which makes For Love & Lemons a unique brand when it comes to evoking a magical blend of cute royal whimsical kind of femininity in a woman that wears their lingerie, dresses or corsets.

I organize almost everything on this website by aesthetics to help people visually find the best of the best of what they truly love. I have found many other posts that list boho brands and similar, and in my opinion, it is not, boho brands lack the enchanting girly princess fairy aspect that is very strong in For Love and Lemons Clothing.

Below are some of For Love and Lemons’ gorgeous references so you can compare the similar brands listed below.

LoveShackFancy: Less Fairy, more Princess mood

Starting with the obvious first, We can look at a princess girly LoveShackFancy dress and tell it is a Loveshackfancy dress. This brand is much more princesscore-girly than For Love and Lemons thought.

The Great

There is something very unique about this brand. It takes the femininity of cottagecore and girly aesthetics, just like For Love and Lemons.

Still, instead of all the dramatic romanticism from the coquette and royal aesthetics, it has adventurous outdoorsy vibes, creating a unique girly vintage outdoorsy aesthetic.

English Factory

A hint of old money mixed with girly femininity is what you can find in some pieces of English Factory.

Agent Provocateur

If what you love about For Love & Lemons lingerie are the rich details and embroidery, then you might find very similar (and very sexy) stuff at Agent Provocateur.

Playful Promises

Cute, yes, coquette yes, girly, yes. But Playful Promises also has some very kinky and baddie surprises in its collection. Perfect for the girly, dramatic retro pinup who values her inner allure.

Fleur du Mal

Like For Love and Lemons, Fleur du Mal does not only make gorgeous and feminine lingerie that is very rich in details, but they also have dresses and outfits.

The Bar

The Bar was such a happy surprise, adorned with pastel colors chiffon and lace, just like For Love and Lemons (with a touch of glamour).

Bronx and Banco

If luxury in the details is what you love, then you will fall in love like I did with this high-end and gorgeous brand. Some of their dresses are so goddess-like that made me think “Nobody would ever mess with me wearing one of those”. You can also find them at Sacks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Anthropologie

So, although most of the things we find at Free People are boho, there is a lot of whimsical, princess stuff there too, especially when it comes to underwear. So, I selected a few Free People finds and brands that sell on the Free People site where you can find things that are more similar to the poetic romance of For Love & lemons and less boho-hippie.
