Last year, I created a very cool post featuring free Halloween phone backgrounds, and among them, I included a few options for pastel goth wallpapers. This little cute lavender bat below went viral on Pinterest since then, which inspired me to make a whole new post only with pastel goth wallpapers.
I have no clue how I first found out about the pastel goth aesthetic, but I really hope it becomes more well-known than it is because I absolutely adore it.
It has the spooky, dark vibes of gothic, vampire, and witchy aesthetics, but it comes wrapped in a pastel purple, black, and pink, cute look. It’s the aesthetic that represents us girls who are both dark and cute, and proves that we don’t need to oscillate or choose. It’s perfectly possible—and I dare say, even poetic—to be soft and dark at the same time.
