Cribs price range
In general, there are comfortable, and well-designed cribs from US$79,00 to US$6900,00 (in case you are interested in a crib with 24K gold).
In this post, we feature cribs between US$113,00 and US$970,00 (in average).
However, even the same models of cribs may have a huge price variation (over US$100,00) between retailers (not the Oeuf, sorry!).
That’s why we show an average price for the crib (from the day we made the post) AND good retailers where you can find each model. That gives you the freedom to go to your favorite store and make your own decisions based on your preferences! 😉
And as you can see in the picture above, you can have an AMAZING nursery regardless of your budget crib! After all, you have been waiting for months (maybe years) to put your interior designer / mood-board queen skills to the test!
Crib safety
If you are buying a new crib in the US you can rest assured that they must comply with federal safety regulation. In case you decide to go for a used crib and you care about safety, you may wanna check if it was built before or after the regulation and if it is compliant with the safety standards.

What is a full-size convertible crib?
Over the last years, the crib market has launched more convertible cribs in opposition to standard cribs. They are called 3-in-1, 2-in1, etc.
It’s a rectangular-shaped crib (according to CPSC definition).
With approximate dimensions: W: 28 ± 5/8 inches | L: 52 3/8 ± 5/8 inches.
It may convert to a toddler bed, day bed, sofa, and/or full-size bed depending on the model. In order to do so, you may have to buy an extra conversion kit.
As a result, it may last you from newborn to toddler or junior years, depending on the model you buy.
Finally, the convertible cribs will require standard crib/toddler mattresses and fitted sheets to go with them!
