As the summer weather slowly starts to sneak in, there is no better time to revamp your hairstyle. But if your patience when styling your hair is minimal or you regularly find yourself rushing out the door in the morning, overly complicated ideas simply won’t work.
Thankfully, there is a wide variety of quick and easy hairstyles that don’t skimp on style, using popular and incredibly versatile styling tools, like the Dyson Airwarp at the Good Guys, which will easily replace nearly everything you could need to get your hair looking fabulous. Here are 5 trending hairstyle ideas to experiment with this summer season.

1. Beachy Waves
Beach waves are arguably the most popular hairstyle to do with a Dyson Airwrap. The voluminous curls and soft face-framing waves are effortlessly chic and perfect for nearly any social event. To get the best result, dry wet hair until it is damp. Then section off your hair. When creating waves or curls, always start with the bottom section first.
Using the 40mm barrel attachment, manually wrap each section of the hair around it in the direction of the arrow markers. Turn the airwrap on, and once the hair feels dry, use the cold shot to secure the style before releasing. Repeat this process until all your hair is complete, switching barrels to change the direction of the curls for either side of your head. Once finished, run your fingers through the curls at the end of the strand to enhance their finish and spray lightly with hairspray.
2. Slicked Back Pony
Slicked back ponies are the ultimate go-to hairstyle for dry hair that may be a day or two past hair wash day. It works well with shoulder-length to long hair, although shorter hair may require slightly more product to achieve the chic, polished look.
Dampen your hair and comb through to remove any tangles or bumps. Use your Dyson straightener attachment to smooth over the lower half of your hair to prevent a frizzy result. Using a comb, create a middle path before applying a generous amount of gel to either side. A boar bristle brush is ideal for creating the desired sleek look, and should be used on the top of your head and the hair beneath your pony. Flatten any remaining bumps and tightly fasten the hair in a low ponytail. Use additional gel to capture any flyaways and set the entire look using hairspray.

3. Messy Bun
Flip your head forward to shake out your hair, using your fingers as a comb to remove any knots or angles. Texture is key to forming the messy bun perfectly, so you will want to avoid brushing it. If your hair is looking a little flat or drab, use the medium-size barrel attachment to add back soft waves.
Gather your hair from the bottom up and tie it into a high ponytail. If you have shorter layers framing your face, leave these hanging loose. Lightly pull a few strands in the front section of your hair and lightly tease your ponytail to add volume. Take a second hair tie and wrap it around your ponytail again, this time making a loose bun with a decent length of the ends out. Drape these ends around the base of the bun and secure them with bobby pins. Lock everything into place with hairspray, and you are done!
4. Bubble Braids
Bubble braids are a playful but easy way to elevate your hair game, adding unique interest to your look. They would work for nearly all hair types, in medium to long lengths, and can be styled in different ways to achieve a polished, glam finish or a casual, tousled weekend style.
Start by combing through your hair to remove tangles before pulling it back into a high ponytail. For a sleeker finish, straight hair works best, but texture and volume can be added by softly curling your hair before you begin. Pull out a few strands of face-framing hair or your fringe to keep your look playful and relaxed.
Taking a clear hair band, tie the hair a few inches below the top of your ponytail, repeating this step every couple of inches down the length of your hair until you reach the bottom. Ensure you leave a loose section at the end of your braid. Using your fingers, go back and loosen and tease the hair between each hair tie to create your desired bubble shape. Style your fringe and bangs as desired and set everything in place with a spritz of hairspray.

5. Half-Up Top Knot
A half-up top knot is the perfect hairstyle when you are short on time but still want something stylish and interesting. Section out the top of your hair, ensuring you take an equal amount of hair from each side of a middle path to keep your top knot centred. You can either lightly curl your hair before starting or use some texturizing spray on the top section to add some volume.
Using one hand, twist the top section into a bun, and with your other hand, mould it into the shape you like and secure it with bobby pins. For longer or thicker hair, it may be easier to tie this section into a ponytail first, then wrap the bun. Finish your look by lightly teasing or softly curling the sides and back of your hair, before using hairspray to set the style.
