If you’re into retro fashion, here is a double trip to the past. The block heel mule with oversized buckle is from the ’70s but I wore it a lot in the ’90s. It’s comfy and perfect for anything outdoors when you have to stand on grass or gravel but wanna look cute.
As usual, there are so many different options that I find it hard to choose one. But that’s because my style shifts with my mood and since we started The Mood Guide I feel more connected to myself and more open to how fashion and decor affect and are affected by my moods and phases. And I love it!
I was 100% minimal-chic for many years, particularly when I was in the corporation. Because of how most people react to my skin color, I felt that I had to “neutralize” that and look as elegant, chic, and sober as possible. So, for years I only wore white, black, beige, and muted blue. It took me years after leaving this environment and changing my mindset to understand what I like. And I’m still in the process.
What about you? Do you have your signature style or you’re on a soul quest like me? What’s your mood for raffia sandals this year?
